Leadership benefits others. It transcends boundaries and barriers. Leadership legacy is the enduring influence of courage and character in action. More than anytime in history, our world needs visionary leaders who possess the depth and conviction to stand alone in order to stand for more than mere title. Leadership is the demonstration of courage in pain or adversity - fortitude - and the determination to go through the fires that light a torch to both warm the spirit and reveal the path in the darkness.

No Jurisdictional Boundaries is a multifaceted, multimedia, proactive approach to
enhance leadership beyond the confines of tradition in times of terrorism.

It’s about courage when it’s needed most.

I founded No Jurisdictional Boundaries, LLC, to enhance and advance current and future leaders. I chose the name based on my ten years as a police officer during which time I experienced the frustration of being forced to break-off pursuits of criminals before I entered into another jurisdiction. Many times, officers watched suspects vanish on the other side of that boundary. It was like watching an opportunity slip away.

What I remember most is that there was never a physical boundary line. It was always imaginary. I still remember the overwhelming urge to step forward, “cross the line” and continue the pursuit. The sting of “calling-it-off” and of abandoning the effort lingered.

Of course lines and boundaries do exist in life. There will always be obstacles to overcome and to work within and around. But imaginary lines can and must be crossed. Regardless of the arena, the LEAD acronym serves as a “challenge-call” to empower leaders to identify and pursue their passions, accept responsibility for their preparation, visualize their potential, step forward and cross jurisdictional boundaries.
